2021-2022 ACADEMIC YEAR ACCEPTANCE OF FOREIGN STUDENTS ANNOUNCEMENT
Foreign students will be admitted to Toros University Associate and Undergraduate programs in accordance with the Registration Admission Directive for International Student Admissions.

Candidates who will apply from abroad who have graduated from a school equivalent to Turkish high schools and meet the following application requirements can apply to our university to study in associate and undergraduate programs within the scope of the student quota to be taken from abroad.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates who want to study in associate and undergraduate programs of our university, provided that they are in the last year of high school or have graduated:
1) Foreign nationals,
2) Those who are Turkish citizens by birth but who have obtained permission to renounce Turkish citizenship from the Ministry of Interior and who certify that their underage children, who are registered in the certificate of renouncement of Turkish citizenship, have a Document on the Use of the Rights Granted in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states that “(1) A child born from a Turkish citizen mother or father in marriage union in Turkey is a Turkish citizen.”)
3) Those who have acquired Turkish citizenship later on while being a foreign citizen, provided that they will have to prove their dual citizenships.
4) a) Among the Turkish students who continued their secondary education abroad before 01/02/2013, those who completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country excluding the TRNC (who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC) (including) to apply for student admission quotas from abroad”
b) Candidates who started secondary education abroad after 01/02/2013, who completed their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country except the TRNC (including those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC) that they can,
5) are TRNC nationals; Those who reside in the TRNC and have completed secondary education (high school) in the TRNC and have GCEAL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by registering and studying at colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010,
Are able to apply.
In addition, considering that for applicants applying with Article 4, dual citizenship and Turkish citizens can apply to the quota of foreign students if they have completed their entire high school education in foreign high schools (excluding TRNC high schools),
a) Candidates who have obtained a diploma from a high school abroad through distance education without being abroad, within the framework of the student admission quota from abroad, cannot be processed with these diplomas for transition to higher education, but these candidates can apply for transition to higher education with YKS,
b) In the context of diplomas obtained through formal education from a high school abroad, checking the entry and exit of the country from which the diploma was obtained through passport or security records, and not processing applications within the framework of foreign student admission quotas with these diplomas if the period of stay in the relevant country does not support formal high school education. ,
c) If they have started their university education abroad by studying at a high school abroad with the distance education system without being in the relevant country, they can benefit from the provisions of the Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions. Searching for the conditions for Horizontal Transfer from Higher Education Institutions Abroad to Domestic Higher Education Institutions published in the Student Selection and Placement System Guides,
Registrations of candidates who do not fulfill these conditions will be canceled if they are detected, even if they have been placed in a program or already registered.
EXAM RESULTS TO BE USED IN THE EVALUATION OF THE CANDIDATES TO APPLY
Applications should be made with only one of the exam results specified in the Annex-1 list.
**APPLICATIONS OF CANDIDATES APPLICABLE WITH MORE THAN ONE EXAM RESULT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR EVALUATION.**
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Applications can be ompleted online at https://international.toros.edu.tr/ or in person at the Office of the Student Affairs Office of our University or via mail, within the application period.
Candidates who will apply to Toros University International Student Quotas: The following application documents below should be sent to Toros University Office of Student Affairs in person or by mail.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR APPLICATION
a)Foreign Students Acceptance Application Form.doc, You should print the Application Form from http://www.toros.edu.tr/, fill it out and send it with your application documents after you sign it.)
b) A certified copy of the high school diploma or an official document issued by the secondary education institution, showing the date of graduation of the candidates who have not received the high school diploma,
c) The original of the document showing the graduation grade point average and a certified copy translated into Turkish or English,
d) Copy of your passport,
d) 2 passport size photos,
e) The original or certified copy of the Examination result document specified in the Annex-1 List, if any.
f) The preference notification form filled in by the candidate. While filling out the aforementioned form, the candidates can make up to three choices from the departments or programs that accept students with numerical or equal weight score type, depending on the type of score applied in the university entrance exam conducted by OSYM.

After the application period, applications that reach Toros University Office of Student Affairs by mail or that are submitted person will not be accepted.
PREFERENCE PROCEDURES
Candidates will make three choices on the form. Preferences should be made taking into account the program quotas and program conditions in the quota table.
EDUCATION LANGUAGE
The language of instruction at our university is generally English. Partially or fully Turkish education is also provided.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RESULTS
Candidates who have the right to enroll in our university will be announced at our official website: www.toros.edu.tr.
In addition, candidates accepted by Toros University will be notified of their acceptance via their e-mail addresses.
Since the language of instruction is at least 30% English in the programs that teach in a foreign language at our university, those who are admitted to the University in accordance with the provisions of this directive cannot present their English language knowledge with any language exam document (TOEFL, IELTS, CPE, CAE, FCE, etc.). The level of knowledge is determined by the English Proficiency Exam to be held by Toros University School of Foreign Languages.
Students who present any language test document accepted by the Senate during registration are exempted from the English Preparatory Class and can directly start their undergraduate program.
The Turkish grammar level of the candidates who will apply to the departments where the language of instruction is Turkish will be determined according to the results of the Turkish exam to be held by TÖMER or our University.
Those who are not successful in this exam can start their education with the Turkish proficiency exam to be held at the beginning of the next academic year, or with a language certificate showing that they are successful by TÖMER, by being considered on leave to improve their Turkish language knowledge.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
a) Original high school diploma,
b) Demonstrating that the high school diploma is equivalent to the diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools, "Equivalence Certificate" to be obtained from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey or the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey,
c) The original of the document showing the graduation grade point average and a certified copy from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey translated into Turkish or English,
ç) The original of the exam result document to be used in the application and a certified copy from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey translated into Turkish or English,
d) A certified copy of the official identity or passport page showing the identity information,
e) Bank receipt showing that the tuition fee has been paid,
f) "Student Visa" to be obtained from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey,
g) 6 passport size photographs,
ğ) Foreign Language and Turkish proficiency certificate with international validity, if any,
h) Foreign nationals identification number,
ı) A document showing a valid health insurance throughout their education. (Optional)
i) A document showing that they have an income above the amount that will enable them to continue their education.
(3) Holders of a "Turkish Pedigree Document" must present it during registration.
Documents that students will bring later cannot change their status at the time of admission.
(4) Among the candidates who have earned the right to register, those who do not register within the registration period to be announced shall be deemed to have lost their right to register.
The registration rights of the candidates who are found to be unable to submit the required documents in the registration, to make false statements or not to meet the criteria, who have the right to final registration, will be cancelled.
